All though I do like the bare metal finish on the us version.

Looking really good Mark, I’m currently watching a German one at the moment, I also have a 1/16 cockpit kit hidden away somewhere. Look forward to seeing more of your build

Cheers John, I kinda wish I had made a mess of one of them because I would know which one to fit ! I like the more detailed later version but something about the simplicity of the early version appeals.think I'll have to do heads or tails!

Fuselage is together and the fit is spot on, a bonus is most of the top can be glued from inside before the front wheel housing goes in to save oozing glue from squeezing the two halves together. Cockpit in. Seat can go in later. Can only say good things about this kit so far :thumb2:

Great progress mark , lovely cockpit . Personally I would use the later Martin Baker seat as most european starfighters ended up being fitted with variants of these, plus the early Lockheed ( licensed from Stanley ) C2 had the messy arm restraint belts which the kit hasnt supplied . Cheers tony

Some more progress on this, fuselage not far away from seeing some paint and landing gear put together.Click image for larger version

Loving it. Very SciFi aircraft is the starfighter. Almost straight out of Star wars…

                          Hi Mark
Instrument panel does look good. I can see why you're pleased with the seats :thumb2: Nice to see how well the fuselage halves have gone together.
                          Jim

ID:	1161998had already painted wheel bays but will do again as it's easier to paint them after everything else rather than trying to mask them.
It doesn't look like it but there is a lot of nice surface detail, can't see it in my rubbish pictures :rolling:
