No Colin, still in puberty........
Tony, this is looking really nice so far Sir!!! I don't quite understand your painting though. Is the plane white? Or is it silver? Or are you going to chip the white to show the silver underneath? Also, have you found a suitable submarine model kit to put it on when you're done?
Prost

After a coat of Alclad aqua gloss and 24 hours drying ive got the decals on . There werent many at all and they went on with no problems . Its now thoroughly drying out then once ive fitted the engine its going to get a semi matt coat to seal everything in and give a uniform finish . The floats will be attached last off .Comment

Lookin' mighty fine Sir!!! Great finish and the 'nasties' look good too Tony, BUT...

Almost there with this now . Ive given the whole airframe a coat of microscale flat to even everything out and got the floats glued on . The canopy has been de-masked -what a bugger that was !! The pre cut vinyl masks had stuck like ‘you know what to a blanket’ also leaving some glue residue which had to be removed with a cocktail stick wetted with ipa and repeated dabs with tamiya tape . Just the prop , aerial and bombs to add then its done , then I can think about making a submarine base for the catapult!Comment

Hmmm,
Just had a catch up with this one Tony,
Gotta say it's looking lovely, the colour scheme is great
Looking forward to seeing how you approach the catapult/ Sub deck.Comment

I initially though about making something out of card a la Ron and his weetabix landing craft but thought the tapering compound shape might be a bit too difficult . Then I found a strip of XPS foam board in the shed .This is the pink stuff they use when insulating various things when building houses , I must have picked it up sometime on a building site . Anyways its about 30 mm thick and plenty wide enough for my sub deck base .It should be easy enough to carve and sand to shape , might have to seal it with pva before painting though. Heres the picsComment

Now that's what I'm talking about Tony!!! You always come up with a great idea and this looks to be another of them. Bring on the Sub, bring on the Sub!!!...
