Excellent work. Really good attention to detail and modelling. I’m extremely impressed by this build.

I'm with Mick: is it really a 1:72 Harrier?
        Great work! :thumb2:

Coming on very, very nicely indeed. As Mick said hard to believe it's 1/72!!

I had to scroll back to check I'd actually read 1/72
I'm a big fan of the "one true scale" I have room for 1/72 models and really like that scale anyway, so it's win win for me.

that must be a really useful tool to have , making your own masks , for canopies etc
It is a wonderful tool. I picked it up several years back for just under $100 on ebay and I use it quite a lot. I've done some models completely without decals by using paint masks - nothing looks as much like paint as actual paint. I've also done a bit of work using them as things like reinforcing plates or building up some details inside an F-14 engine nozzle using vinyl I've cut out.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone - I really am enjoying this build. I should have it done within the next week or so.

                  And it's loaded for bear:

I use the air pocket filler that comes in Amazon packages for working with the model upside-down because it tends to hold it quite gently.

                  And a few more shots:

So now I need to add the final two decals, gloss coat, dull coat, add clear parts and I'll be done.

And she's done! Here is a link to the completed model. I may do a bit of cleanup around the windscreen, but for now, I'm quite happy with it.
