Very impressive I’m leaning towards these new Airfix kits lately

Back on this. Sorted the seams out and now painting. Working on the underneath first then the top will be a two colour camo.
I'm used to brush painting Vallejo Model colours but for this model I'm using Vallejo Air paint as they had the best colour match.
They're obviously thinner as they're designed for airbrush use but I'm brush painting as is my norm. I have noticed that there is a massive difference in thickness between the various colours and some colours needing double the coats. I don't really understand why paints from the same manufacturer would be so different, not that it's a problem for me.

I'm struggling to motivate myself to get to the bench these days but I managed some time yesterday.
Painted the upper of the aircraft now. I'll let this cure today, then mask up and paint the camo.
I brush painted as is usual and free handed the cockpit with a mask There is a little tidying up to do but I find that Vallejo paint is relatively easy to scrape off a cockpit window with a thin cotton bud.

It's never to late.
In April last year I parked this build as it was frustrating me.
16 months later with my mojo hopefully resorted on another build I took it off the shelf to give it another go.
I've removed the cockpit which had freehand painted badly, stripped off the paint using IPA and will now mask it property. I'm also going for the open cockpit option this time.
