...yep,bimbling is quite acceptable, although "sauntering"or "Mouching" is also very well used...
... In fact,"Sloth like" is probably more accurate!!

wasn't happy with the base coat, it seemed to cover all the mottling despite spraying thin coats, so a quick addition of Tamiya Desert Yellow mottling on the top sides

Quick blast over with a thinned base coat to blend the mottle..although the light has flooded it out it is there, but very lightly..

And after a while attempting to decipher airfix's camo patterns, she got masked up,

And a few markings, these are really good decals, they easily put up with being dragged around whilst laying them down.... Although Airfix could do with taking a bit more care with where they have you put them....reference pics are a godsend..

Exhaust stubs still need some work...but I'm getting there..

Nice work Chris. I have to agree about the Airfix decal placement, the Dakota's I'm building have a couple which are three pieces of marking on one strip that are shown to lay over door hinges, that shortens their length so they aren't quite ibn the right location. Cut them into three to fit them

Thanks Mick, it's just little oversights like this that at times put me off Airfix, granted this is an old mould / release, but it still gets a person's back up....I;m hoping the decal carrier film settles down otherwise it's a bit of remedial work to remove it....

also Ammo Mig varnishes..(lucky varnish) do not like micro set, it literally strips the varnish straight off if your not careful...ask me how I know..lol .(the port side roundel)

I may have passed by your place early this morning on my way to Cambridge, I always look out for the Harrier at 'Wittering' as I pass it, I'll give you a wave next time I'm whizzing past...
