    Hachette 1/32nd Lancaster B.I

As we're talking about the re-issue of this beast as a Dambuster variant (only twice the price of the 'Wingnut' one!) I've been persuaded to post some pics of my part-built original partwork of, obstensibly, PA474 of the BBMF

I was back-dating mine to one of the first three in service that flew with 47 Squadron, adding the ventral dustbin and, to show the interior, 'cutaway' with the starboard side covered in acetate. Another project I REALLY should get back to!

Engine, prop and spinner were all metal, so they weighed a tonne! The rear of the wing roots were not handed, so I had to get a second one to mirror the layout. The big red fuel tanks were all demountable
The wing tips were top-and bottom wood piece, so i was going to have to scratch the starboard side. You can see how ell the aluminium skinning works
