    Papa 695s Airfix 1/72 Lightning

Going to build this to go with the Salamander I’ve just finished, to make a small diorama.

Great kit. Take care with fitting the cockpit and intake trunking into the forward fuselage, I had to remove some material from the inside surface.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

I had the same problem — see here for my solution (and a few posts down from there for the instrument panel, that also needs trimming).

Finally made a start to this one. The cockpit fitted with no problem.
