          One of the most recognisable shapes of any aircraft. Looks very nice. Your masking skills are top notch.

                  Went to put the decals on, and found out that most of the decals where missing, got in touch with Airfix and the kit is discontinued so no spare decals. I’ve managed to source most from the spares box, but missing these.the underside black lines.

                    Nice Ian, seems like you have a lot of useful stuff in your spare box! I'm sure with a bit of masking you can get those lines done with the airbrush, have fun cheers

                      Yes Steve, over the years I’ve saved a lot of spare decals, and I should be able to mask and paint the lines I’m missing.

                        Great job Ian. Those lines are about the thickness of the border lines found on some decal sheets, I’ve used them for 1/72 Spitfire walkways

                          HI Ian WOW your lightning has come up briliant as i must admit i never did like them in green as to me a lightning was all in metal colour how i used to see them up RAF COLTISHALL but yes you have done it in green an in my book got away with it to gettin me to like it VERY WELL DONE SIR brilliant modeling
                          BUT QUESTION is the canopy ment by you to be in black an not clear ?
