As you can see one of the little greeblies has come off near the radio. its on the floor somewhere the empty dustbuster will be out later as that's my usual finder to the carpet monster :smiling5:.

Hi Vaughan, I have to ask how did you fit the engine exhausts? I can see from your build updates that they were not fixed when you did the painting. Did you affix the back plate in the fuselage halves and then fix them to that at the end?
      Thanks

Steve all looking good great cockpit detail pe belts makes a great difference. As for the exhaust stacks I think your right, I've looked at the photos and that's how I must have done it( it was 5 years ago). When I sprayed the nose yellow you can see the back plate more clearly. It saves masking them which I always find a fiddle. Keep the good work up.

              Build Update.
So Have done quite a lot since my last post. Most of the main building is done. Had a few issues with the fit of the wings to the body as you can see in the picture. A lot of sanding and dry fitting but got there in the end. All seems sanded and filled where needed and some re-scribing which I hate. Everything has been primed and ready for painting.

Steve all looking good I had a slight issue with the wing roots but only on the leading edge. I'd go with the bombs

                          Build Update.
All painted. A few little areas to touch up where paint bled under making tape. Painted the invasion stripes. wished I'd gone with the decals for the black stipes. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Undercarriage temp secured in place for painting.
I've used Alclad Aluminium for the NMF and Tamiya acrylics for the other main colors.
                          Hope you like

All looking good Steve. I notice that you haven't added the black stripes to the underside of the horizontal stabilisers presume you're yet to add them?
