Hurricane number one (Fly) is built.

I will do some very light weathering once number two (Revell) is also built.

The undercarriage was an 'interesting' build and is quite fragile, particularly the tailwheel. Definitely no vroooming across the table top

I feel like I'm milking this, but I promise it's not the case!

Number two is done apart from a rear view mirror which pinged off into the ether. Replacement from the spares is a work in progress, i.e. covered in wet paint. I've also added the rear view mirror to the other Hurricane...that one I forgot...until the other one disappeared, if you follow me.

I'm going to leave this thread here. I will make one of my usual ham-fisted attempts at some 'proper' photos, hopefully this week, though I'm busy again, this time with some female rulers of a time before metals .

That band will be QOTSA then……used to gig No one knows back in the day…..
As to the hurricanes, both excellent to my eye. The Fly one appears to have better surface texture though.

Festival run. I'll put it together and bale, so just a few days!

Not sure what to do next, someone mentioned a new Spitfire (Kotare) but I'm not sure how many Spitfires one is legally allowed to have

What a wonderful result and a wonderful build thread from a man who really knows his stuff.
                        Thoroughly enjoyable, thanks Steve.
