We've certainly got to the home straight now, some tidying up to do, torpedo to be added, with a bit more touch up weathering
Next couple of days it'll be finished, this has been by FAR the most complex model I've done to date,be it the landing gear, engines, and obviously all of those masks!! Enjoyable mind.. even if a bit frustrating at times!
For now though, I'm happy enough, and very shortly I'm expecting to have it finished

Coming in very nicely indeed my good man! Really rather nice indeed.

That is a lot of glass and actually quite a lot is curved too add to complicate things further! I had to DIY masks for the Bf110 I did a few years ago but at least almost the panes were flat.

Also didn't realise the Beaufort has a full turret. Thought it was just a fixed 'window' for want of a better phrase.

            Again, great work indeed.

            ATB.

                Thanks very much Andrew,
Yep, for me anyway, those masks were a challenge!!
It's the Beaufighter that you're thinking of re the turret position I'm guessing

I've added the torpedo and done as much weathering as I dare :flushed:,
Here it is now, bear in mind that my photos are all done on my phone, I'll try and put some decent ones up in the "completed" section.
Thanks to all who have commented, abused,or even just looked in... It's been great fun :thumb2:
