One of the landing gears is mostly done.

Rather slow progress at the time, but outdoor activities and not much time to build due to other tasks is the reason

Outstanding work, Johnny! I just have too many plastic (and one wood) kits to finish so until I'm old, cranky and grey I probably won't start a card model. Oh, who I'm kiddin! :noidea:

Let me give you some good advice then

If you have plans of finishing your models......don't start to build a papermodel......

            It's like drugs I guess......one cut and you're hooked

I already have a mental problem and I'm seeking help through IPMS. I wonder if there is a ICMS? Get it??? International Card Modelers Society. :lame:

Continued work on the plane today. I'm home with some broken ribs....and today the pain was manageable.I had a crash on my bicycle and the tarmack is very hard when you hit it at 35km/hr....

                      But onto the build!!

Details on the landing gear. The part is the one at the tip of the Exel #11 blade.6 of that part was to be small hinges at the compression cylinder at the legs.

                      Landing gear done.

                      Front and rear side

                      Canopy is done.

I also started to do the fairings (was that the correct name?) And the guns are done on both side. Did I overdoe the gunsmoke leftover sliding along in the wind effect??

                      Hepp hepp!!

That's strange Johnny, none of these pictures seem to open up to normal size, have you done anything different with them?

I know what you mean about the gunsmoke effect I think it should be a lot softer by either airbrushing or careful build up with dry brushing. I don't know what you can do with what you have there to soften it without causing any damage. You might have to live with it.

I haven't done anything different than before,so I don't understand why they won't open to normal size.

I'll tone the slag down to just a shade I think.

                            The fairings

                            Got the fairings done today

Now I can see the end of this build getting a bit closer. When the wings are done....only the rest left!

So there was the day that the "petie" should up on her wheels.

                                The rear wheel

The landing gear and one of the wheelwells covers are in place.

Also the typical air inlet and the two hatches on the rear part.

                                Seen from Down under
