The camo looks convincing to me. No need to slavishly follow the drawing, as the real thing didn’t have a fixed pattern anyway, to the best of my knowledge. Which, of course, also means you can’t really go wrong as long as it’s in the same spirit.

Yes,I know what you mean... I did try and follow the suggested pattern provided, however, after a while my painting drifted off somewhat... and it's kinda morphed into an adaptation of my take on it!!
It's been quite good fun up to now,how long it'll continue to be so will be interesting.... After all,as I previously said... There's a LOT of it to be done yet!!...
But I'm determined to get an half decent result :thumb2:Comment

Go Mr. Smiff, Go!!! Looking real good Andy as it's not an easy camo job and very easy to go astray while doing it. If you're happy, then all the better. Besides, I don't think Hermann G. is going to come around and shoot you if it ain't perfect, or to RLM standards!!!...
Prost

Thanks guys, appreciate you looking in :thumb2: ,
So then,an update...
Masking was completed, took AGES,
Then....
Black,(partially), applied there,then..
Unmasked, yep, some bleed did appear, however, nothing that can't be sorted...
I've also started the the camo, but I've reached total burn out now,so will be taking a rest from it now, what i HAVE done, still requires a filler bit of painting, but here tiz the moment..
This is quite mind zapping, and FAR from done, but I'm fairly happy up to nowComment
