AN first thing i wanted to do was fit in the navlights glazein as after the first muck up where i nearly lost the tail glazein this time i had a thunk about how i would hold it to postion it as its so small well came up with this idea of stickin the glazein to a bit of sellotape so i dont lose it an the put a lttle glue in the hole an then holding the tape with the glazein stuck to it i just lifted it over the hole an postioned it an pressed it home so success
an when glued i just lifted off the selotape an volay it in place thank gawrd even though i was a nevous wreck all it needs now is a little tidy up an glue the blue led to the inside so that the light shows through an two more to do tomorow an i dint lose one greatComment

As to next model, I have been looking, and thus far there are too many on my wish list, I am however working on the list.
The window and sliding door for my man cave arrived today, and the builder will get them installed tomorrow hopefully. Another step closer to me having my space.Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.Comment

CHEERS John yes i dint want to lose these parts but as they are so tiny its a job to hold them as if i used twezzers id lose them for sure so the selotape idea was made to order
That would be a bit OTT wouldn't it Chris :smiling2:

I'm eyeing up a civilian vehicle like a truck, racing car or a motorbike, and a diorama is in my future as well. I need something different.
The man cave still has a lot of work to be done, installation of the window and sliding door, 2nd fix electrics, finish cladding and flashings, then painting and flooring.
As they say good things come to those who wait.

Nice one Chris,
that fuselage is huge.. if i remember correctly something like 60% of the Tomcat's 'lift' came from the fuselage, hence it's ability to carry up to six AIM-54A Phoenix missiles and two AIM 9L Sidewinders, with the wings providing the rest to keep it airborne..Comment

HI GUYS well a little more done on the plane to fit in them led's an firstly the bottom half with the nav leds fitted an the wirein is glued in place for now as later it will be run wherever i can fit it down to the mini power socket
AN HERE the top part of the fusalarge where most of the led's are bein placed an again im running the wirein where i can an i just hope they wont get in the way of fittin in both engines an there is more comein on this section as there will be the tails leds wires as well an when all the leds are fitted then a fairly simple matter of connecting the all up to the mini power plugComment
