HI ALL another small update on the cat as ive just fitted on all the eletrics so they are now done but will all the lights work stay tuned to this thread lol an just now today have fitted on firstly just the starboard wing to see how much wire i need so the wings can pull in an out an the top half of the fusalarge is just laid on to see if there will be probs fitting it when the time comes an yes there will be AaarrrcchhhClick image for larger version

AN YES its beginning to look like a tomcat now as ive pulled in the wings to the full swept vershion but i think its goin to be a right PITA when i try to jion up both fusealages as again they dont quite fit their placement pins out by about half a mm so i will have to ask jen for a bit of help to hold it while i glue the seems an insert the rear plug for all the top lights an insert the front plug for all the nose lights but will take it steady an see how i go Click image for larger version

Chris that is really looking the business mate, good luck with the fitting together part.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

                              HI GUYS
well another update on that cat an like Doug says below

Oh come on Chris - you didn't really expect it to go smoothly did you????? :tears-
WELL Doug you was right an it dint AS today i treid to fit the top half of the fusalarge to the bottom half an well the bloomin plane has got the drop on me as it dint fit an in this pic ive just connected the 3rd eletric plug in to carry power to the top half an it fitted an works well Click image for larger version

but then just sat for a while just lookin at how it will fit togeather an havin a good think to gain a little insight when i start to glue it togeather here Click image for larger version

an this is when my troubles really started as i started to glue it togeather at the front half an yes the starboard wing leadin edge fitted wellClick image for larger version

AN then turned the plane around to look at the port side an just nipped it togeather with my fingers an yes it just fitted so glued an fitted clamp on the front part but with even these big clamps pulled up tightly the rest of the leading edge an what a horrible fit as the pin fitment was not in line with the hole about a mm out so to try a get a good fit i had to cut off the pin but there was still about a 2 mm gap Aaaaachh not happy with thatClick image for larger version

SO yes now the bad fit has started in enrnest as lookin at the fit a bit further back its a tight fit but not the wing leadin edge Aaaaaaccchhh bloomin trumpy
so now it looks like its out with the filler OH DEAR an i cant glue the back part of the fusalarge as got the shakes bad as i dint want to cause any damage while tryin to run a smearin of glue so will have to wait till jen comes home from seein her freinds an then i'll ask her to hold the plane on its side so i can hold the glue in both hands to glue it what a crap fit but the gap that can be seen has not yet been pulled down sothis is not the bad bit Click image for larger version

There is something seriously wrong if thereโ€™s a gap that big โ€ฆ are you sure nothing is in the way for the fuselage halves to come together better? Perhaps the wires you added for the LEDs?
