Playing ketchup here, Ian. A wing whoopy thingy I know nothing about, but it does look cool. You have done some great work on that warped fusi and the rear doors too! Especially considering the kit is in 1/72. Respect Sir!!! I'll try to keep up...

      Prost

I’ve been working on getting all the gaps filled up and sanded. I’ve also got the windows masked and fitted.

Looks good Ian. I can imagine the hours spent filling and sanding to get such a decent result.

Any progress? Right now it looks more like a submarine than a chopper!

Miko (I have one in the stash of course it will be finished in raspberry ripple)

Sorry for the late reply Miko, no, no work done to this lately. I concentrating on the Hurricane GB at the moment.

Ah, okay, mine will remain 'stashed' for now

Just a little bit more done. The blue is the wrong colour. The call-out is for gloss French blue, but Vallejo blue angel (71090) is more accurate. So I’m going to have to repaint that part.Click image for larger version

A lot of work but now this old kit is looking good. Certainly wouldn't be any use to an inexperienced modeller drawn to the kit by the quirky subject and the boxart.

Nice to see this one being continued At least the new blue will have a good undercoat.
