I thought I would do a Tribute Build for one of the most Famous U.S. Fighter Pilots after his passing last week.
Clarence Emil "Bud" Anderson was an officer in the United States Air Force and a triple ace of World War II. During the war he was the highest scoring flying ace in his P-51 Mustang squadron. This particular P-51B model kit is based on the one that he flew to Berlin Germany after he received it and on D-Day. This P-51B was old Crow4 I’ll be building it with out the invasion strips just like it was on May 8 1944 on his trip to Berlin Germany.
