I thought of you last Thursday Chris.Had to pop to Dovercourt and saw 3 guys sailing their stuff on boating lake.I saw a fishing boat,Lifeboat and a small warship.I didnt get to talk to them as the swans were edging closer to them and didnt want to upset swannys.
I quite fancy doing a 32nd Phantom sometime but just havent the room for one which is annoying.
        All the best

HI Richard thanks for thinkin of me due to seein these boats as its a nice hobby very relaxin up NORWICH pond in my 30 odd yrs of sailin there weve only had one swan on the pond an it was soon caught an taken away by the RSPCA an was unharmded for its own safety as at that time there were I/C boats on there an they were goin at 50 mph so the swan had to go an Richard if you do get a big 1/32 phantom i hope the fit is better than my tomcat an hornet but it would be nice to see you build one as i would follow your build avidly

HI GUYS well i was so annoyed at that fusealarge fit an i was thinkin of binnin the plane but i thought of all the work ive done on fittin in all these lights an such so some may think im crazy but i could not sleep over this matter so at 3am i got up from bed an got stuck into it to see if i can save the plane from the bin an after my early morning efforts i think ive got both rear sides now accepattable but still a minor bit of fillin to do on the rear part near the engines an i'll have to fit a small thin lenght of plasti card gluded to the engine bay inspection hatch as there is a 1mm gap which to me is unaccepptertle see what you guys think compared to how it was ?

AN enigine bay cover open so the engine can be seen an there is a light fitted in here so that the engine can be seen in the low light area Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_0500.jpg Views:	37 Size:	230.7 KB ID:	1237397
AN Engine cover closed again an im now a lot happyier with it than i was phew just small touch us tp be done Click image for larger version Name:	IMG_0501.jpg Views:	36 Size:	190.4 KB ID:	1237400

It's coming on well Chris. These fit issues are just one of the challenges in this hobby and working with larger models means some of the fit issues are more challenging. Nothing that plastic card and filler cant sort out. I had some huge fit issues with a old 1.24 Airfix Focke-Wulf 190 but would never have dreamed of binning it off. Keep at it, it will be gorgeous when completed.

Well Chris I'm glad things are going your way at last. It is certainly looking good. There must have been times when you wondered if you would ever reach this stage.
