Boatmans Super Hornet F18/A- F Build

HI GUYS well the S-HORNET wont start for a bit as SWMBO has asked me to do a bit of decoratin in the bahtroom an loo an this will give me a bit more time for reseach on the plane but there is one problem i cant solve an thats tryin to find a real picture of where the gatlin gun is fitted in the nose as ive not got a gatlin gun in the kit but if i can see where an how its fitted i hope to cut out the hatch in the nose an fit hinges an make up my own gatlin gun an fit it to be seen or closed up like i did on the tomcat so can ANYBODY find some pics for me as ive looked but proberley not in the right place

HI Arnie well i thought the bounty hunters first off then looked at the damond backs looks a nice colour sceme an then i could not make up my mind so i thought id let you guys have a vote to make up my mind for me an it has done an my red spray paint has come but i really should have used insigna red but the chap in the model shop said its not in a spray but in a bottle so i would have to hand paint it on but im rubbish usein a hairy stick so i'll get a better finish with the spray so thats that all ready to start as i have some parts of the fusalarge all laid out on the bench to firstly fit in all the nav lights an in the tails an in the fold up wings as there will be hinges in the wings so that they will fold up an down an no im not crazy on snakes either lol

well this came this morn a superhornet cutaway to help me with my build as i wanted to see where the gatlin gun fitted in but im afraid i wont be able to fit one in as i was goin to scratbuild one but no joy as can not see how the hatches open to try an fit one but one thing for sure its a smaller gun than on the tomcat

AN im goin to use my 1/48th superhornet for a guide to buildin the big one as the instuctions re not that great just like the tomcat an here with wing folded up

AN WINGS in folded in down postion so i can see how i did this all those yrs ago

HI Scottie yes i'll be very pleased if it does an in that diamonbacks brilliant red top an wings an tails an i just hope that the decals dont let me down but i think before i start the build i will use a small unimportant decal off the sheet to see if it splinters an if it does then PANIC STATIONS LOL

YES it did turn out qiute a nice build Arnie i think it as an accdemy modle kit in 1/48th an build was good if i remember rightly an its all lights up like the tomcat

HI Doug glad you feelin better sir an yes youve caught up an you also like the diamond backs like all the other guys yes its looks a nice sqr colour sceme an yes you did hear about bacon butties but it was from BATTLESHIPBOB lol
