    WIP Roden 1/72 S.E.5a

I was going to put this one in for the WWI gb but as I forgot to do the photos and started the build thought it best to put it here as a WIP.

It's a nice little kit however I'm not sure if it's 1/72 or 1/76 as it is on the small side and a challanging build as the fit of the parts is not so good as I've had to use a fare bit of filler on the underside and the lower wing fit needed some adjustment. But that's part of the fun of model making.

    Question:

Would be wise to try and put the wing ties in and if so what would be best?

Anyway here are a few photo's

Hi David The wing ties do you mean rigging ? If so i used fishing line on a Swordfish build, but on my WW1 GB papa695s Dh2 i used EZ line which i found to be great to work with and would highly recommend it. Hope this helps and your doing a great job so far

I built a Revell 1:72 SE5a. Clearly your Roden kit is a far better example !
