Slow progress on this at the moment. Family commitments and work dictates this

Still i've just added the nose cone and given the base colour (rust) to the exhaust covers. Going to try and weather them a little. Also got to do some pre-shading after i've cleaned up the filler

Well done some pre-shading and also added a little to the exhaust covers (pic doesn't show it too well). Suppose i'd better start to paint this beast now eh?

Well i was going to start the painting but i realised that there are a load of little bits that need to be added underneath and therefore the undercarriage has to be fitted so they don't get broken off. So i initially painted the landing gear but it needs touching up after it was fitted. I'll do that tomorrow once the glue has hardened properly. Here's how it's looking so far. Oh and yes the nose cone was removed so i can get the nose gear on (i should really read the instructions better).

Ok just righted the model and placed it on it's legs and found it's still a tail sitter

Not got any lead left so will have to go into town at some point and get some lead shot. So this one's on hold until i get some

Na the local church has a copper roof. The last restoration used about 180 tons of the stuff.
