    KI 61 Hien Hasegawa 1/32

A friend of mine, like the Japanese planes, bought this model and asked me to build him. Never liked metallic models (never get results that pleases me) so I sent a sheet of decals come from Lifelike and the seatbelts from Eduard . It seems to me an easy kit, not many spare but well detailed. I’m waiting for the decals and seatbelts.

I already painted the interior (RLM79)

Lovely finish and detail and the dashboard looks very neat. It's the weathering that really catches the eye with these Japenese fighters as they really seemed to be abused when in use.

Looks nice so far. Plenty of opportunity for some extreme weathering on some of these Japanese machines.

          A few pictures here.

          Cheers

It will slowly but will moving. Still await the arrival of seat belts and Eduard mask.

I glued the fuselage. Some difficulties in gluing the wings on the fuselage.

The construction of Hien will slow. The material I ordered have not arrived (the PE and the mask of Eduard and Lifelike decals). I was anticipating the landing gear and propeller.

Hey Antonio, looking great so far. I'm curious as to what method you're using for the chipping on the propeller and other pieces? That looks great.

Another masterpiece in the making António. Knowing your paint skills, the weathering on this is something I really look forward to seeing.

                            Maskol applied with a sponge.

I painted the part that was sanded and painted the leading edges yellow. I took the mask under the wings. The "Hinomaru".
