    Thanks Ron, the 'Hit or Miss' is exactly the finish I am trying to achieve, look at the huge variation on the photo below which I am trying to simulate. Cheers Derek

          Thanks for your comments Ian and Paul. Since my last posting has airbrushed the model with Micro Gloss ready for decaling, and have applied all the decals except the ones on the canopy which will have to wait until I remove the masking tape. Have coated the model with 'Promodeller' Black wash and cleaned it off. Still have the lights to fit, the radome, the pitot tube the wheels, and Missiles, also chrome up the nose trim and two small areas behind the canopy. Will make this my last posting, and will post the finished model under ' Aircraft Pictures' shortly. Thanks everyone for your interest and encouragement. Cheers Derek

              Nice! Looks like you got the better of it Derek.

              Here and now I will say it looks very good. I await the final photo shoot with baited breath. The BMF worked rather well with that rub'n'buff I must say!
