    Kawasaki Ki-61-I Hien Hasegawa 1/48

The old mold, not so bad fit. The cockpit is OOB, I only added a radio to the right side and some cables. Painted with WEM Nakajima interior green-gray.

-The only notable work was the root of the wing, because it is part of the fuselage is thicker than wings.

After I made the hull, I saw that I forgot to make a seat harness, which I subsequently put it, and I made them from painted Tamiya tape and very thin wires. Unfortunately, now they can't be seen very well.

Canopy is masked with Tamiya tape, and painted with interrior color, so when look through the glass it looks like it was painted from the inside

Finally, the model painted in primer

That's a nice looking mould, more than a hint of BF109 in the deisgn too by the look of it.

Impressive looking build so far and nice cockpit detailing, this should look very good.

Lovely interior detail and paint job. I agree with m1ks, it does seem to share quite a few design features with the Emil.

Looking at that nose again, surely this uses a Daimler Benz engine or a derivative / copy of that, the air intake for the supercharger and exhausts share the same layout indicating an inverted motor.

No mention of this in the derivatives section of the BF haynes book though.

This plane was designed by BF109 and initially used his engine
