Methinks your ceiling is going to look really good when this thing is hangin' up there!

Can you tell me why you painted the black first? Most of the advice I read about painting says you should do the light colours first as darker colours are more difficult to cover.

An amazing model. If I remember, I think the Xb70 had a turning circle greater than California when flying flat out. Of course I could be wrong here.

Thanks Fellas and Gern true a big no-no with a dark base but was trying for a effect and it failed as explained in the pics. Colin I think you're spot on with the turning radius!Tony.close 2'8"

The base white went down no problems

Was hoping to wet sand it down and have the black undercoat accent the panel lines, epic fail here.

Regrouped and decided just to respray the white put the decals down

Going with a Urethane clear top coat with some fast hardner

                Who is that masked Man?

The clear is on and waiting to kick off

That picture of you spraying the model really shows off how big it is.No wonder you need a spray gun instead of an airbrush!.

Fantastic work so far! I wasn't aware it's that huge!

Have you decided what to do with the exhausts? I just noticed Armory makes PE ones for Valkyrie
