The detail on these kits is really fine and crisply done -

The decals are a little daunting but the instructions are clear as to how to apply them so should be ok.

I've not really done to many modern jets so this will be a bit of a change.

Looking nice tony. Phantoms are a favourite of mine.

Hope someone can help. I've just started putting the second green on the Phantom, started with US dark green as this one seemed the lightest, and now am putting the reflective green on and it's really difficult to see. I'm doing it freehand with a hairy stick, no air brush, as masking such a complex pattern seemed too much like hard work, or perhaps I'm lazy. Either way does anyone have a tip about applying two very similar colours to a model so I can see what I've done and what still needs to be done.

Any help would be gratefully recieved.

Hate to say it, but if you did mask the area to be painted - you could see where you've been.

Some more done. Work keeps getting in the way, so it's slow going.

I found painting both together was a bit of a pain, so after putting the first coats on the Phantom I put it to one side -

and concentrated on the Mirage.

It's nearly done and the decals went on really well -
