Oh a Tonka. You got my attention.

There are dozens of decal sheets for tornadoes, so you will be spoilt for choices.

Sleek, racey, timeless, adequately manouverable, goes well on full throttle .... but thats enough about Ian ... the plane should turn out ok as usual

I built the Revell 1:72 - a very good kit. I hope the 1:48 is as good.

I built the airfix 1/72 ages ago, will watch with interest.

@Ian, where does "Tonka" come from, not heard this one before.

                Tony.

                    Tony.

This Ian thinks it's from the Tonka toy's very strong and indistructable but i'm sure Ian M will put me right if i'm wrong

I worked as Tornado ground crew for the Saudi Airforce from 1988 to 1995.We didn't call them Tonka's.I believe that's what the RAF called them.Dont know why though.

That office is looking very nice indeed! You might want to have a look at a pair of resin bang seats from Neomega resin. they are well worth the money and look the dogs when painted up.

Nice work Ian. You must have used a brush with 2 bristles to do those buttons.

We called them Tonkas because they are built like Tonka toys. Tough as old boots and twice as heavy. Loved working on them
