            Good stuff Ole.

            Your airbrakes are flaps,giving extra lift for landing. They were not usually used for take off on Spitfires.

                thnx people,steve can they be left in the open position when it is at rest? i would like to leave them down for show.well i have managed to finish the guns framing guns are in place just having to lay the trigger wires and hot water lines aileron actuators and other bits,only on one wing though otherwise i will go mad lol heres pics of guns and framing [ATTACH]57409.vB[/ATTACH][ATTACH]57410.vB[/ATTACH]

                    okay have been working on a hydraulic ram for the undercarriage only on one wheel though as two would have drove me mad but this film is for Colin who laid down the challenge lol [ATTACH]57531.vB[/ATTACH][ATTACH]57532.vB[/ATTACH],once i get the small video uploaded colin will see it moves lol

                            Bloody hell ole this is truly impressive stuff - why have I missed this thread so completely up to now! Just spent the last hour going through the thread from the beginning - superb stuff! I'd like to single out one thing I'm most impressed with but its so difficult as its all great. I guess the hydraulic ram must rank as the most over the top bit of extra detailing! Keep it up! This thread is now in my viewfinder so I'll be watching from now on
