Revell 1:32 Arado Ar 196a-3

Hi all I just picked up the new Revell Ar-196 and upon opening up the kit in the store I was pleasantly surprised just how good this kit is. There is virtually no flash which is a nice to see. The engine is very nicely detailed even with the wires on the engine. This is going to be a very fun build. I have already put the floats together and the fit was perfect, it was as good as the Tamiya 1:32 Spit no filler needed so far and very little sanding is needed. This kit was super cheap for a 1:32 plane, and the way it is fitting together it is a real good deal.

I've seen a brief review of this kit in Tamiya magazine and they were very positive about it. I'm looking forward to seeing it go together though, many thanks for sharing this with us.

I have also seen a review of this and it does look very good. The chap building it has also a catapult launcher from I think Bismark, should be a great piece when done.

Look forwards to reading what you think of the kit Curt.

Keep the reports and pictures coming!

This would and I wanted to do, but my problem with the postponement. Too high. I look forward to continuing construction.

              Good luck!

I didn't resist! For £18.99, this is the kit bargain of the decade; even though it's going up to £24.99, it's still fantastic value. Grab one while you can! If only all manufacturers were this sensible on pricing...
