Finally, the paint disaster is dealt with.

Just to show I am actually doing something with this monster, here it is still with making tape all over it.

Turning into a bit of a endurance trial this one ! Mind you, nice weather has been a bit of a distraction.

Nice to see one of these 'monsters' being made, I had one in the stash but sold it after I measured the entire model.

Thanks gentlemen, there might be light at the end of the tunnel. Tony, rescue on the paint job, a little secret - it's not painted (well ok the white is) but not the silver !

Thats one BIG tunnel it must be coming down colin!! There wouldnt be much light with one of these either, one of the nicknames given to this aircraft by convair was ' magnesium overcast' ! cheers tony

Tunnel, thinking about it Tony, this aircraft has its own tunnel - an access tunnel / tube for the crew to transit the bomb bay and enter the crew rest area,

Just a bit more, 'blump' is sitting in the garden ready for what few decals it has. What a strange build. Today 'blump' sat on the garage floor, while I moved around working on it. Normally, the model does all the moving, not me !

Pic is from Daughter No 1's phone, not my normal source.
