Got the odometer air-screw done, and gave the top-coat a go-over with stock Forest Green.

The "propeller" was made of 1/32" brass, drilled, ground and filed, then gripped in the center with needle-nose pliers and the ends give an little twist.

That now completes this model, except possibly a display stand (but I need to find a space to stand it in; that's the problem with these models, running out of room to display them!).

    Regards, John

Wonderful work John, a simple yet effective model. Your paint work has come out tops too, nicely done.

I cobbled up a display stand, but too tired to get fancy with a background for a photo, so improvised a hurried setup:

The stand was cut from 1/4 inch x 2-1/2 inch craft oak from our local Lowe's "big-box" hardware/home-improvement store. Titebond II premium wood glue used for the stand, pylon pinned with short pieces cut from wooden-handled "Q-Tips." The same pins were used for the pylon to fuselage, with Crafter's Pick flexible glue used there (dries clear, adheres to painted surfaces).

        Regards, John

Great work John that looks so good on the stand and the paint work looks spot on
