Well this as finished as it s gong to get the mistake I made on it I couldn't correct so the decals will have to stay as they are. I have done some indoor shots and outdoors. There is a little bit of subtle weathering to go with he chipping. When these helos were first deployed like many of the vehicles they were given a quick lick of desert camo. So the chipping is meant to represent a poor paint job that wasn't designed to last. I don't intend on putting this in the finished section just yet as I am going to put it on a dio. all comments good and bad are welcome

Looks good, worn, dusty. Like she just had an encounter with a dust storm.

If I had to find any one thing to be critical of, I would merely suggest a 'toning down' of the big green splotches where the desert cammo has chipped away. Just the big green ones though. She looks like she caught some form of aircraft measles.

That's just my opinion. I do think it was a good idea to fix up the interior walls, it does look more accurate this way now.

Cheers Steve I did wonder about the chipping. Aircraft measles is that contagious?

not as long as they're quarantined until the crisis passes, I should think

It's that the green chip marks don't show as much wear as the rest of the bird, they look too "new" and "fresh" if you see what I'm saying...

I know what you mean I will have a go at weathering them down

Looks good Terry. Although I agree with Steve's comment about the green, over all it's a pretty good build and paint job

Thanks Dave I have just started on the figures to go with it. I will then weather the newer areas down a bit.
