      Ok, guys!

      The first stage/masking is ready.

My intention is build a weathered plane. So I do a chipping effect on every square, one by one....

      Thanks

And here is where I am.

Needs the last masking stage..... o_O

At the moment, I really pleased with the result, under every square there are five coats of painting, and don't lose the details on the plane.

          Primer coat

          Alumminium paint

          Varnish matt

          (hair laquer/chipping effect)

          Colour coat

          Varnish matt again

          Thanks

Love it Polux, going to be a very colourful beast when it's done. After all this time glad to see the tartan Spitfire making its debut

                        All the squares are finished.

I'm feel strange now.... I'm so pleased with the work I have done, but think the Spitfire is not guilty of my 'eccentricities' .....

                        Thanks

Amazing paint job Polux! I dread to think how many hours of masking was involved in that

Well Polux it is certainly different but in a strange way looks so good, job well done on the tartan

                              Hi Polux,

I think this looks great, just how long did it take you to do all the masking...

                              Andy...

My excuses to the most classical modellers....

If all you are losing the patience and asking yourself: “what is doing this guy, with the poor Spitfire...?”

I have no answer to that.... and I don’t exactly if all that will go anywhere too.....

But can say, I really enjoy playing and trying new things on it

                                Love to learn, sorry!!

                                Regards
