How do you think about this new colour?
Maybe with a dry brush with "lead" looks better

I think it's important to keep the very light deposit on all but the first (front) stub. I believe this is caused by the lead content of the petrol and has a chemical name I should probably know.........but don't
You've already got a good looking set of exhausts, just have a little play with them. Maybe dry brush a very light grey? Just a suggestion.

Oh my God...
Observing the photo, I notice, that I have done everything erroneous...
Will try your tip Steve, light grey or white dry brush. And a dark colour on the end of each exhaust.
Have to said, I'm quite afraid, they are a very little pieces!
Cheers
