    Thanks Edgar and Joe.

Interesting story about the Sky color. Here's Gunze H34 interpretation, though color may not be rendered properly in the piccie.

As you can see I started painting (i did modify the green adding more gray) the fuselage, still need wash, matt and wet/dry highlights.

I also disassembled the seat to replace the kit's armor plate, too thick, and position it lower. Now the cloche looks oversize, what do you think? It's just my impression?

    Thanks for following.

      Cheers mates,

I found few drawings of the stick and better pictures, it may not be as bad as I thought.

This evening I will be able to check against the part and report.

      Regards,

      Francesco

        Done!

What do you think, may I close the fuselage?

            Thanks Si.

Yesterday evening I glued the fuselage and today attached the wings. Waiting for the glue to cure I tried the Gunze H330/331/332 with only postshading on another model and here's what I got. I think the result isn't too bad.

looking very good Francesco, excellent work in the cockpit. How did you make the seat harness? It looks very natural.

Thank you for your nice comments.

Seat belts are done with aluminum adhesive tape (the one used to join tubes), painted with citadel bronzen flash and washed with oil black and terra di Siena bruciata. Metal parts are made again with thin strip of alu tape, the big lock is made with a slice of plastic rod.

I find the alu tape very useful as it keeps the form better than alu foil and masking and has a very strong glue, plus I can use for placard too.

Cheers mates, and thank you for you feedbacks.

Spitfire #1: ailerons cut and remade, applying putty.

Spitfire #2: decals on and on his (wrong) legs.

                              Nice words, thank you.

Painting ongoing, camouflage on spitfire #1 and matt varnish on #2. #2 is only missing a carriage cover.

                              Here's a picture of both:
