        OUch.

I always find when things start going pear shaped, its best to let them be and come back to it later... Just not to long, otherwise, the motivation starts to settle in tact with the dust!

I am sure you will get it sorted in the end.

Very impressive Harry. Does the brass work come with the model or is this an Eduard ?

Take it some of the PE is fitted temporarily as masking would be a terrible business ?

I agree on the washes Harry. Now got some Vallejo washes which I have found superior to anything I have tried so far.

I have used IPA getting my paint pallet's nice and clean in no time at all. Softens the paint quickly. That is Vallejo. Not sure about other Acrylic paints as they use solvents which, I would think, make them a harder surface.

As Ian says,it's best to put it to one side and come back to it at a later date if its getting you down.I messed up the Alclad on my Lightning twice.I left the model for a week, then sprayed it with enamel Aluminium which I've decided is not good enough. So I left it for a few more weeks and have started a third attempt with Alclad today!.
