Thanks mobear. its starting to come together now. Not sure what to start on next. Maybe the under carriage, it has quite some detailed parts to it.

            Cheers

Told my partner the reason behind the build Andy and thinks it's a lovely idea ....

She's not into modeling ... but appreciates what goes into building, painting and finishing

Anyway your figure painting got a "wow" from her ...... which believe me ... says a lot mate!!!

Thanks CDW and Mrs CDW i appreciate your very welcomed comments and glad that this is appealing to the none participating spectators to, if you know what i mean. This will be one to Cherish until my end of time and would hope that it would never leave the family when i have gone.

And finally to you my good friend, thanks Ray, it means a lot coming from a master figure painter such as yourself. Much appreciated.

                        Cheers

Andy! The next time we have a figure GB if you are not in it I will want to know why!! You say that is your first attempt at a figure and are worrying about painting it, then you go and pull Jack out of the bag and blow us all away. Seriously good work. The face is great and that leather helmet looks so real I thought it was!!!!

Thanks Ian. It seemed to be to me, another one of them blunder along with your eyes closed and see what comes out sort of thing. I'm sure the Old Dutch is next to me in the workshop while I'm building this thing. Got to be some reason for these results.

                            Its comforting to know this.

                            Cheers
