Even though I spent most of yesterday faffing around with an AB I did manage to do something on this , it's a quite detailed cockpit and you get the pe for the instrument panel and the seat harness both are detailed although you have to manipulate the harness to get it in the seat and the instrument decal goes under the pe for the panel and it doesn't match properly but is hardly noticeable

That looks really nice Alan. I've always steered clear of Italeri kits in the past, so this will be illuminating!

            Cheers mate glad you like

It's not a bad kit Patrick , it fits together quite well but it does have some areas where it's a little over sized or leaves a gap but thankfully most are inside parts so you can hide them

This is the engine I won't be showing it in the complete build but I will show it in the MKIIC I have but I think it's a nice little thing to show

Cheers Si on the one I will show it in I'll paint all the wires and tubing to give it more detail

Glad you like it cheers mate

Fuselage and wings now on and a little bit of filler needed on the port wing and the realisation that this is why it's best not to paint an aircraft on the sprue

Nice engine Alan, surprisingly detailed! Maybe I'll take back some of my negative views about Italeri

Hmm I did wonder what the perceived advantage was of painting on the sprue!

The more I look at it, the more impressed I am that you've brush painted it Alan!

                          It's coming together very well.
