Looking very good, never tried a chopper (got one in the stash somewhere )

I'd have to root about in the loft for my course notes but although they were RR Gnome engines different marks may have had slightly different rated lumps, I have a vague recollection of this being discussed during the Q course all those years ago.

I was thinking between the sea King and Merlin, as I thought they were same engines, but perhaps not.

Can you believe it - a private company doing SAR. I'm not connected to the forces in any way, but as a 'lay man' I imagined each SAR mission would have been better than a training flight, and you might save a life at the same time.
