I use two grades of sand paper, Auto rubbing compound and Tamiya polishing compound with a final dip of Future, Paul.

Thanks Jim, sorry I forgot to take photos of the process but to let you know it will still looked slightly cloudy before the dip and you'll see the miracle happen...just look at the result.

People always make the mistake of airbrushing Future over the clear canopy which blurrs the whole clear part.

Great work with the canopy Richard, it doesn't look like the same part. Pity about the seam line though.

Sadly the seam line stays as the glue joint cannot be get at. Anyway it will only show in the bottom of the canopy as the rest will be covered by the painted frame

Here it is test fitted again...

I'm complaining about issues in 1/24 scale and you're doing this great work in tiny scale

Every bit of this build has just been outstanding. The improved cockpit - just another level entirely.

Never noticed before, but there's no access from the cabin to the cockpit. Hmm, so only intercom to warn the pilots you're on fire!

Mick, you'd be surprised how much you can get away with in smaller scale.

There is an access through the back of the co-pilots panel. Didn't bother to drill that out. That's why there's a bulge on the left for the passage way past the engine.

Sorry Richard ,I have been watching from a far literally (see what I did there)but the chaps always express it all any way ,with long builds like this I like to look at the pictures of the finished product then read the whole thing backwards for me anyway you get a much better understanding of what went into the final photos ,l know even the other halfs finally beginning to think I'm a bit damaged. Dave
