If anyone wants to build this model too, I can only advise you to remove the dowel pins and build everything as a short run kit . This certainly saves much rework.

Although you say this kit fought you all the way it really doesn't show. That is a stunning Meteor. Great finish to the aircraft, in the natural light you've shot it in it the thumbnail images actually look to be a real aircraft.
