    'Paper' Hunter

This is the Revell 1/144 Hawker Hunter, finished in the Papyrus scheme (real thing here). I custom made the decals for it and added a bit of detail to the cockpit. It's a great little kit, unfortunately - like its 1/72 counterpart - it's hard to find these days.

I'm a big fan of the hunter and that is just fantastic and you'd never guess it's 1/144 scale it has all the detail the 1/32 scale has and if you hadn't told us the scale I would never have thought that

Very well done even if it is a bit quirky

Firstly, awesome work Mike. A lovely little Hunter which will stand out on the shelf that's for sure (unless it is sitting among a pile of newspapers). Secondly, a thought that popped into my head was 'decal hell'. Great build.

Cheers Joe. I designed the decals so I could apply groups of words at a time rather than individually, but even so it was a couple of evening's work.

Another great build, Mike! I was lucky enough to have seen the real thing a few times! I am sure Revell will reissue these kits in both scales sooner than later
