    Bf109 g6 first build finished

Ok I have finally finished and "weathered" my first model, a academy bf109 G6

the weathering and painting were not great and made a bit of a mess. Though i guess it just be a very dirty plane!!

I am going to add this to my first diorama i am planning. eek. i could cover the messy wing with a tarp. i've seen someone make one out of tissue i think?

    Anyway onto another model now..

It might have been accidental in the weathering but it's come out looking good the dark streaks on the underside to give the impression of a worn and very used aircraft ,

The grey mottle affect on the sides of the fuselage are difficult to do even for air brush users , I cut down a brush about halfway dip it in paint and wipe most of it off so it's almost dry then I dab it on if you look at my avatar it will give you an idea of the look it gives

But on the whole it's a very good first attempt
