    F4U-1A Corsair - Revell 1/72

    Hi!!

This is my new F4U-1A Corsair in 1/72 scale. It's a new tool from Revell and it's a nice little kit.

    Cheers

    Stefan

Great stuff Stefan. I heard some bad things about this new tool Revell offering, flash, ill fitting parts etc. But it looks like a nice enough kit when built. Very nicely displayed and photographed too.

Wow Stefan you keep building these superb birds in quite speedy pace. Great paint job mate.

Looks great! I like the subtle chipping around the wing roots. How was the kit to build?

                  Hi Doug!!!

On the whole, the Corsair was built easily. But there were a few difficulties at the motorcowling. This consists of three individual components with a bad fit. Here you need putty and sandpaper. And as load there's only auxiliary tanks. No bombs or rockets.

                      Great model Stefan.

Pictures are wonderful too, can't distinguish the model from a real one.

Very nice, Stefan. Didn't realize there was a new-tool Revell Corsair.
