I've finally managed to finish this kit.Even though my attempt at a weathered paint finish didn't work,I'm still pleased with it.Ive finished it as an aircraft based on Malta and used for reconnaissance missions by Adrian Warburton of no.69 squadron. This aircraft was an ex Vichy French Martin 167 that was flown to Gibraltar by a crew defecting to join the free French forces.Despite joining the RAF it retained its French camouflage. The French stripes on the rudder were painted over and an RAF fin flash applied. The code '2' and the French units marking on the fin were retained.

Awesome work Dave. I think this has turned out very well; to think back to when you had the chipping issues, I reckon this is a nice clean and tidy build result. Great build!

      Hi Dave!!

I really agree with Joe. This is a great model construction work to an aircraft that is not seen as a model very often. Well done, mate!!!

That turned out well in the end. I admire your determination on sticking at it and getting a cracking result. Nice one!

That turned out well Dave considering some of the trouble you had.
