    papa 695's EE Lightning Completed

    Finally got this one completed. I had the plane finished ages ago it just took some time to work out how to show it, I'm still not one hundred present happy with the base, I may just get a nice block of wood varnished yet.

    But here it is for now I hope you like it

      That's very nice Ian, the head-on shot is particularly menacing!

      I think the base is fine - maybe a backdrop photo to set it off?

                  Stunning, just stunning, takes you right back to the 60's when this fighter was a new front line fighter...the looks the speed the elegance, a true fighter that looked the part and yet looked so beautiful. Top work, just amazing!

                    Superb work Ian matey, it looks fantastic screaming down the runway . The finish is top class , theres something about a silver lightning thats just magical , takes me back to the Finningley airshow when i was a kid , the 'lightning climb' was always something to see (and hear!!) great build , cheers tony
