When I was 14, the Uss Coral Sea (CV-43) came to my hometown of Halifax, NS, on its way to being decommissioned and sold for scrap. The general public was invited aboard for a kind of last look-see, with some examples of the F4 on the flight deck. Your model looks much better than the ones I saw on board, I doubt that those ones were even airworthy anymore. It had (the ship) already been generally stripped of weapons on this last voyage...
