Gloster Gladiator, 1/72 Matchbox

Built for a Matchbox GB somewhere

3 Squadron, RAF Kenley 1937

dont know why but i always find aircraft hard to do, and biplanes the hardest lol

the one slight glitch was the wheels, supposed to have red covers but after three attempts at painting the black tyres, cocking it up, stripping it all off, respraying red then just to cock it up again i gave up and they just got sprayed matt black lol

and one for scale
Per Ardua

We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no ones been

Tell me about it. Me and aircraft have this hate relationship...just cannot get to grips with them...any of them.

Back to yours Paul, lovely build, a real gem and I actually like the wheels all matt black, something a tad different.

Great looking gladiator there Paul I feel your pain with the wheels as I used to suffer the same problem but then I got myself a template and can now do them in seconds well worth considering mate it really takes the frustration away.

That's very nice Paul! Amazing what you can do with those old (but gold) kits

Cheers
