    Academy 1/48 RAF F-86 Sabre

Here's my finished RAF Sabre. Built from the Academy kit, I used a replacement seat from Quickboost and Eagle Strike decals.

The camo has been sprayed freehand using Tamiya acrylics.

Very nice! Clean looking build. Nice cammo job. I'm not a huge fan of US aircraft, but that one is very stylish

Fabulous build and finish, Matt. Which Tamiya colours did you use for the camo?

Mike - I used XF-23 Light Blue, XF-81 Dark Green 2 [RAF] and XF-82 Ocean Gray 2 [RAF] for the colours.

                    Thanks for looking!

I realy love this one Matt . Its a superbly built and painted model of a lovely aircraft in seldom seen colours . The paint job and subtle weathering and chipping (cockpit sides and front of drop tanks ) are spot on on my opinion , its making me want to get my 1/72 airfix one out of the stash and start building it now !! Great build ,no doubt about it , cheers tony
