Finished this one yesterday.Whilst adding the finishing touches,I knocked a bottle of thinners off a shelf.Of course,it hit the model.Broke off a tailplane,Tail wheel and one of the wing mounted radar aerials disappeared never to be found!.Here it is after repairs.

Oh yes Dave I do know the feeling.

But a very nice model on a very nice aircraft. Not easy to weather a black aircraft just underdone and looks the job.

I do know this feeling as well Dave!! I was trying to shot some more photos of the Fw190.....and now is....errr....

Anyway your model looks very good indeed.

The white colour wash add a nice deep at the paintwork, magnificent.

I mixed black and white oil paints to give a greyish wash.

That's a lovely Mossie Dave as Laurie said, black is a very difficult colour to work with, but your weathering & panel line wash is just right.

That's a great wooden wonder dave I like that a lot

You can tell the differences though from the airfix and tamiya counterparts but it still makes a great looking plane

Makes me want to start mine but no the my hurricane must be started ive faffed about enough now it's down to business
